We do have a few other critiques as well; the lamp in this projector only lasts for about 1000 hours, 6x less than many other projectors. For such an expensive piece of equipment, this seems quite unreasonable.
This projector is also incredibly heavy, weighing a solid 45 lbs. It is by far the heaviest projector we came across and gives a little credit to the intricacies of its internal construction. Its quality has to come from somewhere after all. This projector has true 4k resolution and one of the lowest latencies seen in any projector. As such, this is the best projector for gamers on the market. Image quality often comes at the cost of connection strength, but this JVC projector has the best of both.
