The tables with the lowest weight capacity still clock in at supporting up to 450 lbs, so it can accommodate pretty much everybody. At their best, massage tables can support up to 750-800 lbs. These tables will be the most durable and stable models on the market, but will likely come with a price tag to match.
- Support Structures (Face Cradle, Armrests, Etc.)
Most massage tables will include at least a face cradle, but you should still be on the lookout because there are less expensive models that don’t include that structure. Higher quality massage tables will often include armrests along the edge of the time, and a comfortable hanging basket type structure for you to rest your arms when extending above your head and off the top of the table. While these support structures aren’t necessary, they make the massage experience a whole lot better.
- Warranty.
We will of course recommend that you look for a massage table that has a warranty package included. Since you’ll be spending at least $150 on one of these products, we want you to be protected, and we are quite confident you’ll want the same for yourself. Some massage tables won’t come with any warranty, but other companies will offer a 5-year protection for free. Safe to say, there’s a lot of variation out there even in warranty coverage.
