BLACK+DECKER’s 16” stand fan is hands down one of the best on the market. It is one of the most adjustable fans you can find since the fan speed, height, and tilt can all be modified quite easily. This makes it the perfect fan for nearly every situation. It weighs only 11.1 lbs so is easy to move around the house when you need to, and although not the most aesthetically pleasing fan out there, it gets the job done well.
This fan has an oscillate function on top of all its adjustability, so you can be certain that the airflow is always going where you need it to, whether that be cooling an entire room or keeping your bed cool while you are sleeping. Surprisingly, this stand fan comes with both a remote and a 0.5-7.5 hour timer. These features are quite uncommon for stand fans and so set this model apart from the competition.
As stand fans go, this BLACK+DECKER model is pretty great. It has a timer and a remote, two features I’ve never seen on another stand fan. I love that I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to turn it on or off when my temperature changes. It’s very sturdy and was in the price point I needed. All in all, it was a great purchase.

The one major problem we’ve identified with this fan is the lights. Since the fan speed and timer indicators are backlit (convenient for easy monitoring of your settings), the brightness of that lighting can become an issue at night during sleep. If you are someone who needs a very dark room to sleep soundly, this is not the best fan for your bedroom as these lights will likely keep you awake.

We are big fans of this Honeywell air circulator. It is one of the quietest fans on the market but does not sacrifice on power to make that happen. Of course, being a smaller fan, it will not be able to cool an entire room on its own as it doesn’t have the fan size or power capabilities to do so. However, for smaller environments or more focused attention, you’ll find this fan is more than capable.
This Honeywell model weighs less than two pounds and is quite compact, making it the perfect companion for travelling and for use in small spaces, such as on a desk or table. The design of this fan means it cannot oscillate or offer any height adjustability, but it does have a wide range of tilt to allow for some manipulation of the air flow. 3 different speeds also increase its adaptability to different needs.

This compact Dyson model has so much to offer the people with the budget to choose this product. While we would prefer its price point was lower to accommodate more budgetary limitations, the value of this fan cannot be denied. It has an incredibly sleek design and is probably the safest fan out there since it does not have fan blades. This makes it very safe for both children and pets that may take an interest.
This fan has an incredible 10 speed settings, far outdoing all the competition two to three times over. The timer duration for auto shutoff ranges between 15 minutes and 9 hours, one of the most diverse we came across. This fan can oscillate and also has a tilt function, a rare combination for desk fans. Although the height of this fan is not adjustable, it is very easy to set it atop a book for elevation if needed.
This is one of the best fans I’ve ever owned, if not at the very top of that list. The timer is so customizable and has a great range, meaning I can set it and forget it no matter how long I need it running. It looks amazing on my coffee table and is really powerful. It is the most I’ve ever spent on a fan and I would definitely do it again.
