The lids are also silicone so you can remove them without getting hurt as long as you deftly avoid the steam.
The set is hard anodized to be scratch resistant even with the non-stick coating, so they’ll last significantly longer than lower-end non-stick pans. The set is also dishwasher safe for easier cleanup after big meals. The glass lids have a built-in steam release and the bases have a spot heat indicator so you know when they’re hot.
It’s been almost a year and this cookware is still in perfect condition. The silicone handles never get too hot and the pans are very to easy to clean by hand if you prefer that over using a dishwasher, which we do. The set has a non-stick interior which will prevent food from scratching, but it does chip and scratch very easily so you’ll have to be careful and use the right utensils to prevent the coating from coming off on your food – because gross.
This set has ergonomic and very comfortable handles on the pots, pans, and lids that will stay cool even when cooking with higher temperatures. The bottom of each piece is heat conductive for faster preheating as well as to lengthen the life of the pans even with everyday use. This set is not dishwasher safe so you’ll need to wash it all by hand, but this won’t be too much of a challenge as long as the non-stick coating remains in good shape.
My last cookware set was old and worn out, but I didn’t want to buy an expensive set to replace it. You have to be very careful when cooking anything with sharp edges or bones, and you can’t use any metal utensils with it, but it comes with compatible utensils to protect the non-stick coating. The handles stay cool and fit the hands well. Overall a very nice set.

Though this set only includes two sizes of fry pan and no skillet, this set gives you every size of pot you could need unless you’re one of those people who can’t cook small meals and needs a 12 Qt pot for their chili. Every piece is dishwasher safe as well for easy (lazy) cleanup.
The T-fal thermo-spot heat indicator lets you know when the pan is preheated for cooking and the non-stick coated interior will prevent food from sticking or burning unless you’re totally hopeless in the kitchen and no amount of non-stick can save you. The lids on these pieces are raised higher than many others and are wrapped in silicone to achieve optimal heat resistance to protect your hands.
This cookware set cooks very evenly and I haven’t noticed any scratches in the 6 months I’ve had these. The thermo-spot indicator tells you when the pan is properly preheated so you get that nice sizzle when putting your meat in the pan which is always satisfying. I also feel safe using these pots and pans since the handles are silicone and don’t get hot, just warm.

The handles and lid tops both remain warm rather than hot during use and the lids are a tempered glass so you can watch your food without hovering over steam or messing with your temperature. The pieces are compatible with all stovetops and are dishwasher safe as well.
This is a solid cookware set for what you’re paying for it. The foods do stick unless you constantly stir what you’re cooking or use a lower heat but the quality is really good and they don’t scratch easily at all. It also heats up a lot faster than my last aluminum pans did so that’s a plus as well.

The lids do not fit seamlessly onto their bases so you do get splattering and water boiling over if you don’t watch what you’re doing. The set heats quickly for efficient preheating and the ceramic non-stick interior prevents food from sticking. The set is stain and discolor resistant to remain looking sharp for a while after purchase even with daily use.
This is by far the best cookware set I’ve ever had. I decided to treat myself after my 8-year old set finally bit the dust, and Cuisinart was my first choice.
