While you are limited to a 1 lb loaf in this home bakery bread machine, you can adjust the texture of your bread from soft, regular, or firm as well as your light or regular crust settings.

Though this bread machine is small, it is powerful. You can make an assortment of doughs including pizza dough, cookie dough, and pasta dough as well as cake and jams/marmalades. The express bake on this machine is a bit disappointing at 2 hours for a 1 lb loaf. A bit of extra added convenience takes shape in the form of  a viewing window to monitor your bread’s progress at any time and stage of the process.

I used to throw out at least half of my store-bought loaves because I couldn’t eat them fast enough on my own before they went moldy, and I am not a fan of frozen bread either so that wasn’t an option for me. The 1 lb loaf out of this Zojirushi machine is perfect for my weekly bread consumption, and it is easy to use. Just be careful since it will travel along your counter on its own during the cycle.

This machine has fewer settings in terms of loaf size and crust colour with only two choices for each: medium or large and light or dark.

Despite the limited settings, the Panasonic bread machine is exceedingly popular because of the automatic dispenser for your fruits, nuts, seeds, or cheese mix-ins. The dispenser can hold up to 150 grams of mix-ins and will automatically dump them into your dough at the right time so they are evenly mixed and baked into your bread.

This is my first bread maker, and it’s amazing! I can’t imagine the quality gets any better than this and it is incredibly easy to use, it does everything for you once you set your settings. I am loving the variety of breads I can make and it is really easy to clean after use. What makes this bread machine stand out is its number of features. It comes with 13 settings, allowing you to make a variety of foods, such as bread, dough, gluten-free bread, and even jam. The machine features an express bake setting, crust color selection, and 13-hour baking timer as well.
